For a long time I was convinced that some sort of deal was in place whereby Iverson would sign in January,but I have to admit that I no longer believe that. Having said that, I believe that with Sibierski off the payroll (and leaving some room on the treatment table!) we could probably afford Lita,as long as there isn''t a stupid bidding war.

The daft thing is that our performance yesterday (players and fans) showed what the current squad is capable of, and its certainly a damn sight better than 19th.

Exactly right about our current squad. Must admit that I hadn''t thought that he could be talking about Lita; I really wouldn''t be surprised to see Iverson here next week however.

Now, at the umpteenth time of asking, perhaps we might see some kind of consistency in levels of performance?

[/quote]iverson should be better than sibs - so yeah, if we can get him, but its down to budget - so who knows - expect players to be sold to raise funds though probably,,,and yeah - consistency of performance is a must if we are to have any kinda impact this term...
