Delia Out! 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I thought that Sammy Clingan had a fantastic game today considering he played 20 minutes at centre-back. I also thought Lee Croft had a good game on the right wing. Overall I would say it was a good performance.
dickyst220 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Sorry mate, but for me it was Marshall, by the way am glad I splashed out on Sky sports this month!!!!!
Shack Attack 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Clingan without any shadow of a doubt.
james norwich 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Marshall for me too.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I was at the game, lots of candidates, Kennedy, Clingan, Pattison, and Marshall were outstanding but Croft was on another level, he tracked back and his breaks were vital when trying to stave off the pressureA performance we can be proud of
Delia Out! 0 Posted November 22, 2008 It was a good performance but defensively it did look fairly poor after we had Doherty sent off.
Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted November 22, 2008 probaly looked different on sky but i thought the defence was superb, Marshall made a few good saves but over the 70mins Forest didn''t create too much against 10 men
Flinty 0 Posted November 22, 2008 marshall all day long! some amazing saves... the free-kick one especially. didn''t see it til late as well.obviously for their goal he slipped, but can''t be blamed fot that. defender should have done better to turn and block it anywayall in all - good day - and we won on Sky! lincoln canary (& Golden Coppel) 0 Posted November 22, 2008 went to the match and mom was sammy clingan for me. suprised no one has mentioned lita, barely got a sniff in front of goal but worked his socks off and showed real commitment, really worked there backfour hard
GMF 1,006 Posted November 22, 2008 Got to be Marshall with Clingan a close second and Crofty third.Where was Bell when a big performance was needed and did Fozzy actually touch the ball when he came on?
dickyst220 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I thought Bell''s cross for Patty''s 1st goal was top drawer & Fozzy was in there for the 2nd goal....
Syteanric 1 Posted November 22, 2008 Martin Tyler is more of an expert than any of us mere fans (why has he been demoted to champiosnhip games? its been years sinc i watched a game on sky.. he always used to do prem games) was raving about clinkers all night.. i think he just shaded it.jas :)
Ivana_rubyatitz 6 Posted November 22, 2008 Isn''t it nice we can actually have a debate about which of several players was MOM for once?
Pete Raven 276 Posted November 22, 2008 Must be Marshall - even Roeder praised him!
Hooleyfan 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Between Croft or Marshall...Really happy for Matty Patty cos he scored ...and Clingan adjusted well, just wish he''d stick his boot in a bit more when he''s in his midfield position.
HandyAndy 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Marshall , no doubt.

Canary_on_the Trent 0 Posted November 23, 2008 10men with 75mins and we win, surely a lot of the 10men have to deserve some credit?
Barclay_Boy 0 Posted November 23, 2008 Clingan for me too, Marshall had a great game and made some awesome saves but was at fault for their goal
Hughesy 0 Posted November 23, 2008 i was there and would of gave it to either clingan, crofty or marshall.none of them really had a bad game, a part from doc making a late tackle and getting sent off for it.
DEB (never forgotten) 0 Posted November 23, 2008 Clinghan. Some great saves from Marshall - but he was at fault for goal conceded. Slightly out of position, slipped & could not recover to prevent soft goal.Players worked hard throughout team.Pleased for players & manager. Need another win tuesday. Here We Go 0 Posted November 24, 2008 fotherington should egt man of the match he started the second goal move by passing it to a heavily marked lita, then got in there to push the forest guy onto the ball to make it go in.He must get it he passed forward for once!!!!! But on a serious note it was Marshall hands down, the mom of the game. Great save and was unlucky for forrests goal.
