Mister Chops 7 Posted November 16, 2008
To all the Roeder outers, who would you replace him with (reallisticly)?
Alas, there''s only one manager crazy enough to take control of city and that would be Ian Holloway. That would not be pretty.Changing Roeder without a change in the boardroom would be as effective as changing the 1st mate on board the Titanic.
Lord Flashheart 0 Posted November 16, 2008 See, I''m not convinced that''s the case, Herr Chops, because I think there are managers out there for whom working with little cash is the very thing they are skilled at doing. I would personally like to give someone of that ilk a chance.

Lord Flashheart 0 Posted November 16, 2008 The same reason any manager would take another job : because they think they can turn it around. With a decent tactician in the dugout employing simple and effective formations, City could climb the table. After the steadying the ship it would be a top oppurtunity for any manager from the lower divions to really make their name in English football.

He later had to backtrack and apologise for this..

lobstercatcher2 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Don''t know if you are joking, but i think sacking roeder and moving clark up would be the cheapest and best option. It worked when we done it with worthy.I can''t believe for one minute clark is happy with roeders team selection.Watching him on the touchline he seems to have 10 times more passion than roeder
Huddy 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Given our current plight, both footballing and financually it is clear to me we need a manager who knows his way around the lower league and isnt scvraed to pick up some bargains from leagues one and two, because they are out there. Grant and now Roeder have no knowledge whatsoever of work in the lower league; and roeder in particular thoughtt Premiership youngsters and failures were the answer.Steve Tilson, Simon Grayson, are two off the top of my head who have done really well on a budget; look at Blackpool, they are sailing above us in the table; tey i would think a chance to manage Norwich would still be appealing.
