blahblahblah 2 Posted November 22, 2008 Stefanovic out, Omosuzi injured, Doherty suspended. Who does that leave us with ?
E I E I E I O 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I believe Archibald Henville may actually be recalled? or Drury!

blahblahblah 2 Posted November 22, 2008
Well on that performance Clingan!! You blind?
No, but my streaming channel failed. Oh, and last time I checked, there are 2 centre backs needed.
Beauseant 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Roeder changed the game by hoicking the comedy act that was Omosuzi off today, and putting Sammy at the back. He was absolutely different class, and Kennedy wasn''t too shabby either. Can''t praise the lads enough for that effort.
still holding out for new heroes 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I''d have thought Drury and Kennedy, with Clingan back to midfield (anything but Fozzy)

Frying Pan Eyes 0 Posted November 22, 2008 I would definately say Clingan. He was immense at the back. He read the game very well. That was a very dogged performance and very never say die attitude. We need to build on this now, and once the confidence starts building very high i am sure 100% that we will beat a lot of teams in this league.A lot of people might disagree but we have more than enough quality to sail up this league with plenty of confidence. Canary Poirot 1 Posted November 22, 2008 Either play Drury or Clingan at centre back for the next game. I wouldn''t play Omoozi as centre back again. Positionally he''s all over the place. Leave him at right back.
Old Shuck 291 Posted November 22, 2008 Clingan is a natural sweeper, if we were ever to play that formation, he''d make a very good job of it. Reads the game very well and is always anticipating what the opposition are going to do, he''s not physically the quickest, but his footballing brain is, and he is the sort of clever player we need to treasure. Binky 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Clingan is the obvious first choice. But apparently, in the Arsenal reserves game there was a decent showing from a 25 yr old whathisname who was playing out of position at CB. Offer him some platform boots and he might just take the risk...though so might the manager of course if it proved him right all along...
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted November 22, 2008 Clingan could play there, but i think we would miss him more from centre mid. So I would think it would be Drury, with Clingan back in his best position as the holding midfielder.
sam 0 Posted November 22, 2008 If Clingan plays there then that would surely mean a central midfield partnership of Fotheringham and Pattison. I DON''T THINK SO, DRURY MUST PLAY!!
SuperWesIrishWizard 0 Posted November 22, 2008
Lappin???????
My thoughts exactly...... but I have the feeling that Roeder would rather play with Cureton at centre back then give Lappin the opportunity to prove him wrong...
