Lucky for the board that the AGM didn''t happen straight after the match!

Well I was dragged along today, wish I had of stuck my heels in and not gone.  Spoke to a guy who has supported NCFC 40+ years, has home and away season tickets and said today that next season the club wouldn''t be getting another penny out of him.  We have said the same.  Boycotted a few games this season, and today there were a good few empty seats, I really think the fans are reaching breaking point.  And to be honest it breaks my heart to see our club, and more importantly the fans so low.

Only 23000 fans there today, the lowest for some time and I suspect it will be even less for he next home game.

The gaps and cracks are starting to appear.....The Jarred Hole was looking sparse around the edges....Quite a few empties in the Directionless box....too.

No Cullen to generate gusto, come renewal time.....

Good piece from Mr Aiken, but God, what a depressing read! I find myself asking many of the questions that Adam has been asking, and I am sure most of us have.

The fact we may, no paper, have a better squad than last year is little comfort, mainly because if that were so, we would be playing better football on a more consistent basis and that in itself would breed confidence to grow and prosper. As it is, week on week the players are moved around, dropped, played out of position and it''s a mess. Pure and simple.

I completely agree with Adam re the expectations, the Charlton model and so on. Adam, one suitable phrase to explain it, albeit another antique soundbite - prudence with ambition.

Will it be stormy though, this fun filled three hours of platitudes and promises that is billed as the NCFC AGM? I am not sure, but whatever happens the team will go out on the pitch next Saturday trying to find the missing element to make them better. Heroes cost money and for that we need two things, investment on the pitch and leadership in the dressing room and belief amongst supporters.

Will we like what we hear on Tuesday and will that transfer itself the the manager, players, supporters and all and make a difference? We can but hope.

23000 ?

No chance.

Gaping holes all around the ground, top of the upper Barclay loads of spaces.

Next year 16000 - 17000 if that, depending what division we are in.

Sadly, and with no slight intended on you and others, you know it too!

The low attendance was also due to the away fans, although there were many gaps in the Community area and the City Stand/River End corner. Can''t see upper Barclay, but lower looked full still.

The season tickets are always counted, whether you attend or not, thus the relatively high figure, but loads of empty seats.

Yes the 23255 is a firm indicator that fans are getting fed and yesterdays ''silent'' atmosphere was another!

I''m thinking about going to the AGM and thanking Delia and CO for what they''ve done but also telling them to get out ASAP because we are going nowhere with them at the helm!

I''ll also tell Roeder if hes there that hes made some bad decisions and isn''t the right man for the job!

Agree Gazza - although I feel slightly less suicidal after talking to a Hammers fan this morning!

I am very pessimistic about the AGM unless shareholders who are also supporters demand to be heard - and are allowed to speak. However although a stormy AGM might get into the local media, I can''t see it having much effect on our Board.
