chicken 0 Posted November 13, 2008 For those of you that have not seen this article:http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/7725388.stmI mentioned something of this in a post about football in general at the moment and where Norwich stand as a result of it. This country is suffering because not enough good youngsters are coming through. In the past Norwich has done well with getting the best out of their players and some gifted youngsters. Bellamy, Eadie etc come to mind not to mention players we picked up who were good but not good enough for their original clubs such as Crook, Bowen etc. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

andrew norwichcity 8 Posted November 13, 2008 its not just that, look at chelseas under 18''s and they have about 5 or 6 players they have already bought for 400k off teams like Huddersfield at the age of 16... this is one of the things which prevents lower league teams profiting from their own youngsters coming through.
