What do you expect?  This was never going to be a big draw, our form is crap and Swansea will bring few supporters - I don''t think it is necessarily a ''boycott'' (ie a protest) as much as a ''can''t be bothered to go to this game'' - how do you decide which it is?

So, not going because of ''crap form'' isn''t a boycott? [8-)]....Ok.

[/quote]I think it''s a fair point... boycotts are organised and orchestrated, but "can''t be bothered" is apathy.  Arguably more damaging in the long term.About 23000 today, maybe.

Well I''m excited as it''s my first game of the season. I''m also a little bit nervous as I''m taking my Blackburn supporting mate with me and I know he''ll rip the piss if we lose to swansea.come onnnnn.

Recently, (and the fact that Swansea won''t bring a substantial crowd)...The majority of seats that were put-aside for the visiting support were made available to home fans. The majority of these seats were snapped up by casuals, even for games against unattractive opposition. Our 20,000 season ticket holders will be counted - whether their seat is occupied or not.

Maybe we can blame it on ready made excuses like the present world recession and credit crunch - or that Christmas is around the corner....I thought apathy and boycott have a common denominator. Oh well....
