The Fish Seller 0 Posted November 12, 2008 Yes well done Board for all the premiership titles, all those years playing and beating Europes finest teams, the Cup finals and building a team worth hundreds of millions and turning the Club into a business worth hundreds of millions per year and only going £19m into debt in the process.Hip hip hurrah! O.T.B.C 1 Posted November 12, 2008 I read some where that Chelsea owed Mr Abromovich about £600 mil. Wouldn''t want to be Chelsea if he called that in. Mind you, beng a fashionable West London club, I''m sure they would get new investors in. Debt has never really bothered me, its about what we have to sell if need be and what we have done with the money. I agree with the new stand, money well spent, its others and now we have no football team to show for all that money we are in debt.
The Fish Seller 0 Posted November 12, 2008 And how many Directors of the Clubs you list IBA had to spend last night practically blubbing in front of 500 shareholders because the money has all run out and they haven''t got a clue what to do next?
|BA 0 Posted November 12, 2008 Yeah sorry - The $ was supposed to be £Scary though huh?Liverpool have until JanuaryYesterday counts for shit if you aint there tomorrowAnyone know of a football debt league table?
Yellowbeagle 0 Posted November 12, 2008 Looking at all of the clubs mentioned (including us). West Ham are the ones to be really worried, Icelandic Banking Owners, 30m to find for Sheffield Unt probably the most likely to self destruct and do a leeds. Saying that we havent got a pot to p*ss in and I cant say i get any comfort from other clubs debts or problems.Man U are only in debt because of the bizarre Glazier takeover where they borrowed against the club before owning it in order to purchase it. They have massive worldwide support bringing in lots of merchandise cash, make final stages of europe and win titles and cups every year, I''m sure they can easily service their debt, wish we could say the same for ourselves. Levi Stubbs 0 Posted November 15, 2008 About midday,I had a rather frank half-hour discussion with Doncaster.(He phoned me to ask what I wanted him to do with my season-ticket after I handed it to Roger Mumby in disgust at the end of Tuesday''s AGM .I surprised myself by not giving him the obvious answer!)Anyway amongst the many NCFC topics we discussed was the loan repayment due in December for the LSE land.He admitted that if HBOS wont re-schedule the repayment we WILL go into administration! He however does expect them to do so, based on what I know.He did''nt persuade me to attend today,(I have''nt since the Derby game),but I admit the call did make a favourable impression on me even if it probably has''nt changed my views on the running of the club. After reading the message board for a year or so,thought I would share that nugget with ya.Been a supporter since 1975 and have shed blood sweat and tears for the club since but dont think I can carry on doing so if it carries on the way it has in recent years.
