Mister Chops 7 Posted October 31, 2008 I''m going, more in hope than expectation. If you are, I''ll meet you in the pub before the game. I''ll have the "Ginger Pele" T-shirt in full effect.

bringbackterraces 0 Posted October 31, 2008 Not going had enough of the drivel seen for most of the game on Tuesday! I predict a long struggle this season! Respect for all those hardy souls making the long trek to Burnley to see the almost inevitable defeat! You lot deserve a medal!

Bury Yellow 2 Posted October 31, 2008 Respect for all who are going. The Bury Yellas have gone too more away games than i can count over the last 20 years but we have had enough. When we have some leadership from the top than i will start travelling again, meanwhile I feel we are having the ''p'' taken out of us. It''s just a really sad situation. Sorry folks

You lot deserve a medal![/quote] I''ll second that, the away regular travellers deserve more than a medal, they deserve to get their ticket prices refunded every time we lose.It costs a fortune to go away and after the crap on Tuesday and getting to bed at 2am I think I''ll give away games a miss for a while. Have Heart 0 Posted October 31, 2008 I shall be there its only down the road from preston. Probs be in the cricket club before the game! lets hope our lucj away from home changes tomorrow.
gazzathegreat 0 Posted November 1, 2008 That will be the highlight of the trip for you Have Heart. I must say Burnley is one of the best away trips purely for the hospitality in the Cricket Club bar, v cheap beer and food, be nice and cosy and warm and there''s Sky TV. Are you sure you will actually venture out to see the game HH?Good luck anyway to all that are going. Hope you can celebrate a precious away win.

gazzathegreat 0 Posted November 1, 2008 Yes there is, standing up and celebrating at least 5 goals (I know that was a few years ago). Enjoy it anyway.....
Mello Yello 2,553 Posted November 1, 2008 I''ve now stopped going to away games on a regular basis......and it''s certainly not because of the current financial situation. I just can''t be bothered to muster some effort to trek to away games anymore....and I once so enjoyed the ''away day'' match experiences. I don''t really feel that I have any affiliation to the current squad or any admiration of the current club hierarchy......Norwich Beer Festival later on with my missus and mates[B] - and the kinder are being farmed out to their Grandparent''s.[:D] Then it''s off for a jolly good Ruby Murray[:P].....There, now that''s the way to spend ''expendable income''.....Home games? I''ll still make the effort in utilising my season ticket (if not just for the pre and post-match socialising).....for now.[|-)]A membership card as substitute for my long-held season ticket is realistically on my personal agenda for next season.....There is certainly more than football to enjoy at during the weekend.....May even start watching grass-roots footy again....C''mon Wroxham! If folk think I''m being apathetic.....I don''t really care.[:|]
pat51 0 Posted November 1, 2008 Feel exactly the same as Mello about the current team, not that I actually know what the team is as it changes so much from game to game. I shall downgrade to a few home and a few away next season unless the current loan policy changes. Don''t have the money to waste on a bunch of mercenaries who will walk away whatever place we end up in.
