canarytim 0 Posted November 3, 2008 So Phil Gartside ( Bolton Chairman) wants Prem 1 & Prem 2 and as a closed shop, anything to do with the fact Bolton are in real danger of going down this season ?This would be the death knell of football as we now it. Hull City in ten years have gone from the bottom of the football league to a champions league place, under Gartside''s plan this could never happen again. Just think of the matches at the end or even middle of the season with nothing to play for in Prem 2.This smacks of a man who doesn`t give a toss about anyone but himself and who is his biggest cheerleader ? yes the club who forced so many buisnessess to the wall with their continual " going into administration " Ipswich Town.Look at the empty seats in some of these Premiership matches do these clubs have a divine right to be in the Premiership ? What about Milton Keynes, I know it is a bit of a souless club but if they keep getting promotion surely they deserve a chance at the big time.Football has become all about money I know but if this plan goes ahead shame on those who implement it.PS It will be great to see Hucks back on Saturday, I wonder if a "supporter" will ever get a bigger cheer than Darren will on Sat ?
