PhatCanary 0 Posted November 3, 2008 Watching the Birmingham Coventry game and can''t believe how many empty seats there are! If City were at the top of the league you would be hard pushed to find one empty seat let alone hundreds like at St Andrews tonight!!! Just makes me even more pi**ed of with the current situation. we8wba 0 Posted November 3, 2008 Bristols as well, cheltnham, herefordim not defending birmingham as their support is cack for being up there. but just think about norwich location and catchment area compared to birmingham who have to compete with two premier teams just in their city
gazzathegreat 0 Posted November 3, 2008 Yes, that''s all very well We8, but isn''t the Midlands a tiny bit more densely populated than Norfolk? Also, I guess when they were in the Premiership their ground was full. Funny thing football, they are at the top and can''t fill their ground - we are near the bottom and we have an almost full one. Funny isn''t it, life.

The Fish Seller 0 Posted November 3, 2008 There is a bit of a ''stay away'' protest going on at St Andrews GTG usual unhappy with the Board kerfuffle I believe. TBH It''s the Villa fans who are the regions fairweather fans IMO.A little insight on how Birmingham fans feel apologies for the first post on the link but outside of Norfolk this is what they think.Link to Blues MB discussing low attendance. gazzathegreat 0 Posted November 3, 2008 I didn''t know that, what is their grievance with Brum? I can understand Karen Brady might be irritating after a while, but they have had a fair bit of success compared to say, us. It just goes to show, we must be unique in continuing to turn up, despite dire performances and results.
gazzathegreat 0 Posted November 3, 2008 Roedy, it''s not just outside Norfolk is it, however it''s interesting to see another supporter messageboard. Are our ST prices so cheap/the cheapest in the league? I don''t know the answer to this, it still doesn''t fully explain the full ground, plus recent waiting lists does it? Quite a few clubs seem to maintain a level of support after relegation for at least a season, I think we are unique in that our numbers haven''t dwindled like the other clubs who failed to get re-promoted.
