Where has the bullish denial gone?

Recommended Posts

What a depressing place this is now...with the all too obvious (to some) reality finally sinking in and the endless embarrassing excuses finding no willing ears anymore.

This bag of scraps was on the cards many moons ago...and the hiring and firing of the hapless Grant could only  lead to something much worse....and it has. The players brought into the club after Worthington left haven''t been fit to wear the shirt...and that in itself really is saying something. I among others could see this catastrophe looming...not via a crystal ball but by simply looking at what had gone before and then witnessing the wholesale dismantling of what was carefully built over decades by previous worthy Chairmen....

We have seen a continuous string of inadequate managers come and go...all hired by Delia Smith and her side-kicks. Roeder was an all too obvious failure from the start...harbouring bitterness and a tarnished ego which had led to abject failure elsewhere. He is an obnoxious individual who could never hope to win over a dressing room...especially when it is inhabited by low grade footballers and loanies sent out by their clubs to impove their attitude.

So...despite the endless slaggings some of us got for saying it "how it was".....we as a club are nothing short of a laughing stock. Delia Smith has dumbed us down into a fluffy pink outfit who strike fear into no-one...as well as filling the stands with day trippers lacking any passion and depth for the club. In short...the whole ethos of Norwich City has been destroyed to satify a celebrity''s ego and provide a shop window for her fading star. Saviour my arse.

So to all of you who believed in fairies...here is the reality some of us foretold. An inept team led by a clown of a manager...overseen by a sad old maid who will never ever see that she is (and always has been) hopelessly out of her depth. NCFC has been hoodwinked...as has this great city and the folk in the surrounding area. Sadly so many of you have simply stood by and watched the ship sink.

Not until Smith is reduced to a target for ridicule at home matches...not until we have sadly been relegated to Division 3....not until the season ticket scam excluding the young and low paid is ditched....not until the grassroot ethos of the club returns to the people of Norfolk....not until the dross on the playing field is replaced by passionate triers....not until someone inspirational like Dion Dublin is given the managers job will we ever be worth watching again.

A look at Hull and Stoke says it all. They may well get relegated come next May...but they will have gone down fighting. What did we do given that chance?....You won''t hear many soppy lines like "little old Stoke" coming out of the potteries...and who knows the low profile Chairmen of such clubs? (without Googling)....nor I might add will they have a "kiddies tea-party" when playing Chelsea etc. away. The shame of it.

These are sad times for traditionally entrenched City fans...but hey ho...the new age luvvies can easily move onto to something else next or even find a new club....just like Smith will at Portman Road. Fortunately the value of Smith''s investment is in steep decline...so when Peter Cullum finally comes riding into town his money will be better spent than simply keeping the old cook in ill gained ingredients until she turns up her toes.

I go to games with about 15 mates. 5 of us as away season ticket holders. All of us are season ticket holders. i know another 20-30 regular (until now) away travellers again all season ticket holders at CR. EVERY single one without fail is sick to the back teeth of what is going on at the club. Thats whats the REAL fans I know are saying.

Very childish of you as usual SOB...but then you are one of those who can''t see the wood for the trees. Stick and stones and all that sweetie...

As for being "smug" about being right...read it properly and you will understand that it is far from triumphalist in content and is more resigned to the reality of where we are as a club.

The truth still hurts in here it seems.

XX to my many haters.

Cluck, cluck cluck goes Cludger, same old same old. Read my posts carefully and you will see that I can see the wood for the trees and that I can see right through you. The difference is that I genuinely care about the club, where as all you genuinely care about is your "reputation".

Shyster - If you had two brain cells you wouldn`t have to hang on Cludgers tail feathers.....
Cluck... Why do you seem to take such pleasure in us struggling?  I can''t disagree with what you say but it hurts and would never post a ''look at me I''m right'' at something so bad, unlike you.
I''m with the above poster.

Only an idiot would be unable to see the problems that our club has like the board, the debts, the lack of money, no assets and no youth team.

It''s just the way people like cluck like to make their opinions into an essay which slate every other NCFC fan other than those who agree and that other d*ckhead smudger who likes to question if anyone else other than him have any balls.

No-one doubts the problems we have, what makes it worse is having C***s like you revel in it.

Clearly some can''t as we have ''fans'' coming on here telling us what a dogged and determined performance we put in yesterday and were unlucky to lose...

Cluck, sometimes you write quality material and I would put your contribution above in that bracket because it is readible and heartfelt.

The shame for you is that historically you have posted disingenuously on ''the wind up'' and now you genuinely want to put a point across many other posters will dismiss it as more of the same; particularly when you are asking to be accepted as someone with foresight.

Good post, but SOB and others will not wish to accept it because you have feathered your own nest and your bespectacled chickens are coming home to roost.
Ct - True!!, but have a look at how many posts there were from Cludger after the wins against Wolves and Donny. Most of us post regardless of the score, some just like to stir the sh1te.....
Exactly! I don''t think it''s surprising that his triumphalist gloating is going to wind people up. Everyone''s fed up enough as it is.

This is all very depressing to read, but none the less true for that.

It will be sad to see Delia and MJW ridiculed because I think their hearts were in the right place. They just didn''t have the financial muscle and they made some very poor decisions which will now come back to haunt them. I fear they have brought it upon themselves.

In my opinion November will be a pivotal month in the affairs of NCFC. Only a root and branch clearout will turn round the fortunes of this club.

Seems you are fascinated with the ''triumphalism'' of some of those who ''told you so''.

Fed up? Yes, but people are fed up with beige too.

Some of you need to get a backbone, and accept that the buck stops at the top instead of offering up all kinds of beige excuses to cover up for the leadership.

But still, one love.

You can phrase it how you like but it still won''t make crowing over our predicament any more appealing.

I personally think that Mr Doncaster (MBA) should also be allowed to leave with his head held high.....and be totally devoid of any totally unwarranted criticism or blame - during his most admirable and successful tenure as the CE; and as a member of the Board of Director''s. HUZZAH!

I fear that your proud boast of being a "Son of Boudicea" is rather contradictory to the facts. I would class you as more of a "Son of Delialalaland" or SOD for short. Or are you just one of these men who need to be led by a woman?

Were you not one of the "silly billies" who fell for the "richer than thou" posts I placed on here to explain my extended absence from the board? Think about it....would anyone with any money be so outrageously arrogant about it?...or would this fall into the catagory of deliberate buffoonery along with feminism...environmentalism and political correctness?

SOD it is I think.
