There are few players that are universally acclaimed by their clubs'' fans, it seems par for the course. Remember some Manc fans didn''t rate Huckerby at all, but under a different manager, with perhaps a different system or style of play....Maybe Spurs fans'' expectations are different, somehoe higher. For us, finishing in the league where Spurs did last season, in part thanks to Doherty, would be a major achievement. I think they''re thinking more of world-class players and anything less is a donkey. Well, that''s my most optimistic outlook on it anyway. Fact is, we need to see how he is before we judge.
