Arthur Whittle 0 Posted October 27, 2008 I think he would be a good signing and as i said on the post when we signed him on loan i was pleased, so I havent just changed my mind about him after the last week like some people.The thing is there is no way we should pay more than 1m tops and that is tops, as hes 5th choice at Reading, and out of contract in the summer.Only thing is, is will Carl Moore help us out again? If Chris Martin was on loan at Barnsley or somewhere and was knocking them in for fun we''d want him back. I think we have to accept he has to go back by January at best and work on making sure Lupoli and or Koroma can do a good impression of him once he has gone. We haven''t got the strikers Reading have got so we are more likely to take a player back if he''s scoring goals.Also, if Martin''s contract were up in the summer (as Lita''s is) then we would be more likely to cash in while we still could.I agree he will probably go back though because we don''t have the cash to buy him...
