JohnoBono 0 Posted October 18, 2008 Glen Roeder has just said that Bristol City did not deserve to win.......Well get this Glenn, Norwich City DID NOT deserve to win..............And anyway football is not about who deserves to win, its about getting results........We dont deserve to win games when we tear up what was an effective midfield to put one of those midfielders up front and then bring on a replacement who by his own admission is having a bad season! That just seems to be clueless. I worry where Roeder (and this board) are taking this club. There is a big reality check needed. Come on wake up and smell the coffee! It''s us supporters who are the deserving ones. We deserve so much better than this.

We need to make the board''s lives hell and ignore any of the saddo sssh-ies who stand in our way.Protest at the Doncaster game anyone?

Mello Yello 2,571 Posted October 18, 2008 I''m willing to bet that if things go even more ''belly up'' and ''Pete Tong''......the board will slowly start distancing themselves from the manager.....Then guess who''ll take all the flak.....
Scot-e-dog 34 Posted October 18, 2008 I''ve just read the interviews with Roeder on the City web site and the BBC.I must have been watching a different match than him.On what basis didn''t we deserve to lose? We had a couple of half hearted shots from distance and a half chance from Lazy-Lita and that was it. Bristol on the other hand, tested Marshall on 4 or 5 occasions.''The lads worked their socks off and didn''t take their chances when on top'' - a couple of them did (Crofty, Rusty), but too many of them didn''t and to take chances (for the few times we were on top), you''ve got to actually create them first, and boy oh boy, we didn''t create much. One thing he was right about though - their goal was horrible and could have been defended by your average U-8s side. It wasn''t horrible in its execution, it was horrible ONLY because we were to inept to defend it.
