A local Billionaire with cash to throw away

Why should I buy your Club?

Recommended Posts

Good evening. I''m a local billionaire with cash to throw away and I''m thinking of buying Norwich City Football Club. My intentions are very strictly honourable. I''m prepared to pay a fair asking price based on current valuation and I pledge to donate £10m in January, £10m in the summe and £10m per year thereafter to be used solely for player purchase on top of any playing budget the club can provide. I see any involvement as a long term commitment on my behaf and can produce impeccable Bona Fides.

What I''d like to know is why I should choose to "invest/throw money at" Norwich City?

To be honest you''re not very good at football and haven''t been for a few years.
I''ve also picked up an element of antagonism between the fans and those currently in charge at theclub.
I don''t see these as deal breakers but I''d like to hear from you the fan, I want you to tell me why I should buy your Club, convince me to invest in Norwich and not any one of the other football clubs which would benefit from a change of ownership and a large cash injection over a sustained period.

* Disclaimer. For the seriously hard of thinking I''m not really a billionaire it''s hypothetical.

for the same reason that millionaire bought Torquay united after they had been dumped into the Conference with debts they couldnt pay.... becuse he sees the challenge and can meet it head on.... turn the club around in time and bring them back....

also, the stadium can fetch a good price when sold to developers.. as can colney.. ;)

and no, your not a billionaire.. but i have a feeling your a certain board apologist trying to be clever....

jas :)

Good evening Mr Money, welcome to the forum.

You won''t find another club in this division that is performing so far below its potential.  Therefore your investment can make a bigger difference at Norwich than anywhere else.

If you''re looking for value for money, come to Norwich.

Because we have a massive fan base, and top quality training conditions.... the only investment needed would be on the playing side... If we went up and goyt established in the Premier you could sell us on for a tidy profit.

Because we''re desperate. Please, please, PLEASE invest in us. I''m begging you. You can have full sexual use of my body for a year if you do (thats how desperate I am).

I''m actually more concerned that the current Board have dragged us so deeply into debt and decline over such an extended period that as an investment, (a term I use loosely) the Clubs appeal  is diminishing  rapidly.

In reality if I were a billionaire looking to buy I would expect my advisors right now to be telling me to wait until the protests start and the majority shareholders want out at any cost.

I too have millions to throw away...which makes me considerably richer than any of the common rabble on here...and probably you too.

I suggest you buy the club because this lot of modern "fans" will follow anything in a yellow shirt and buy whatever cheap imported merchandise you care to lay before them. Team performances are irrelevant as long as they are told that next season will bring promotion thus suckering them into buying a season ticket. They are also very loyal if you say you have been on television.

* No disclaimer as I am incredibly rich and wouldn''t spend a farthing piece to give the majority of these knobs on here an ounce of pleasure....especially Americans and sissy boys like Jess and Dicky.
