NavMan 0 Posted August 22, 2004 Having watched Newcastle''s game on Sky highlights it must be said that they created far more clear cut chances than Man U yesterday and I feel that City will have to be at their utmost best to prevent a horrible backlash from the Toon''s result yesterday. Better passing and possession of the ball is a must if we are to get anything from this game as they will be at virtually full strength unlike United who it must be said had a very depleted side (Saha, Nistelroy, Ferdinand, Ronaldo for 85 mins). no1canary 0 Posted August 22, 2004 even though that maybe the case, a strong newcastle side isn''t that much better, maybe even worse than a not full strength man u side. newcastle''s fans will be alot louder than man utd''s, so our fans really need to sing their hearts out! don''t forget, a crowd like that easily gets on their own players backs, and we could take advantage of that. we''ll just have to wait and see.
