Come on then, those of you who want Roeder out.  Who would you replace him with?  Names, please.
Steve Tilson Mr C.....we went for him before appointing Grant, anned Saffend said no, remember?.........we should batter their door down again!

Given that we have limited funds if any especially after paying Roeder off, I think Clark would go too, so would some of the other coaches, it would have to be Bryan Gunn with Neil Adams as his assistant.[:O]

Can you elaborate on that?  So after the Grant debacle you are advocating another novice manager taking over this club at a very difficult time, not a good idea imo.

Tilson may be a good choice Wiz, but it depends on the length of his contract and therefore how much compo we would be due to give to Southend.  We would have to pay off Roeder, then give compensation for Tilson and probably his backroom staff, have we got the money for that?

Then we drop the ''nice little old Norwich'' tag hogesar, go back, and nag and nag till we get our own way...........you know?  just like 99% of other clubs do!

forgive me if im wrong im sure crooks astrailian record is fairly good , i just have a feeling he would do a good job he was tactical as a player a real playmaker who with a hardman in midfield like andy townesend quick skillfull wingers fox gordon, it was the right mix , i think he would be respected more as he was really well liked always a bonus whilst being a manager.

Crook was a fantastic playmaker and someone who I loved to watch when he was playing with us.  He will hardly have any reputation in this country, do you reckon he will have the contacts in this country that someone like Roeder does seeing as he has not worked in this country for god knows how long?  Will that not put us back into the Grant situation of struggling even more to get in half decent players?

I agree that Roeder is not perfect, but I am not sure if there is a better option at the moment considering our position.

If the know nothing idiots get their way and Roeder is sacked there is not a chance in hell that we could afford a better replacement.  I don''t know why they don''t all just go and support Man United

Er, if I remember correctly we asked to speak to any number of potential managers before settling with Roeder - it was not just Tilson, it included people like Pulis and Bowen, so who is to say that we wanted him any more than the others? Or, indeed, that he would do any better?

IMO this is a pointless discussion, as Roeder should be going nowhere.  But even if we were looking, if we consider Roeder a failure with all his experience and links throughout the game, I''m not sure why getting someone who has only ever managed a lower side would be seen as being a particularly great forward step.

because we dont want to support man united.. we want to support norwich all you are doing is making up excuses for the poor show we are seeing .

if we had won 5 or 6 games out of ten then my posts would be different if we carry on like this we will finish on 40 points ish..thats relegation form surely you must see that no disrespect only a fool would think thats good trouble is people are burrying thier heads in the sand.. our top scorer would finish on about 12 goals think about it

The manager of Asda for me. He gets most of the country''s leading footballers sulking around the frozen food cabinets, apparently. He must have great contacts in the game

Jeeezzzz  TC you''ve spent ages banging the drum about get Roeder out and this is your best effort at a replacement, you''re entitled to your opinion obviously, but you don''t even sound convinced yourself!!!

Before you ask I appreciate things aint rosy but I also believe you don''t go changing Managers annually and feel he will do a better job working within our  financial constraints than anyone else realistically available.
I doubt any of our players even know who Ian Crook even is. He has no record at all over here, just an average record as an ASSISTANT in the world renowned hot bed of football, Australia..
I don''t get the Steve Tilson love. He did quite well with Southend a few years ago, but no better than countless other lower league managers.
