GMF 736 Posted October 12, 2008

Yes yes Newyork Newyork well done you lovely old boy you have taken us up to £400 [*][*][*] That 3 wins this season and lots more to come , well done all you lovely old Pickers , I think you can tell that arrdee is proud of you all.On to next week when we are playing for double money and its the lovely Hissing Sid in charge , so watch out for Raise funds for Foncy with the Pink un Pickers. Talk to you all later.[Y]....arrdee.
Arrdee, as a relatively new comer to Pups, I thought I read somewhere that our previous wins were also International weekends. Is that right?
No thats not quite right Gazza we have had 7 wins and 3 were directly responsible to International weeks . Fellas did use a selection from the African nations cup in his line of 7 and all of us that sat through that Sunday evening will never forget it . It seems the whole City turned out in support of Fellas and the Free Bet , every club and pub was full , the word seem to spread like wildfire and I am sure the last person to ask what was happening and what was going on was told " there is some young boy playing for a £ Million" and as those 5 goals went in I hope they were shouting "Fellas" "Fellas" .Mr Chops on the other hand just produced his winning line from nowhere , he just knew what he wanted to do and presto 6 correct selections winning £138 . He just saw it and was successful as have been the other winners . I am sure that Nutty Nigel can furnish you with the finer points but Gazza thats it in a nutshell....arrdee.
Thanks Arrdee for clarifying that. I was confused by the reference in your previous posting "That 3 wins this season and lots more to come," but I obviously misunderstood the context of that posting. Nice to see the Free Bet triumphed this week, plus the Hucks shirt is up to £80 already for FONCY - a good weekend all round.
And Arrdee top of the Canary Challenge! (See your emails Arrdee). nutty nigel 7,513 Posted October 12, 2008 Another really successful week on the Free Bet thanks to Newyorkcanary[*] and all our PUP''s[*][&][Y]49 picks with 42 correct is a "right result"[Y]Arrdee[*] and Inch High[*] march on with ten from ten while We8[*] is still there with six from six. Trent[*] is right on your heels having only slipped up once and look out together because the nCIsA are closing in with Tilly and Kathy on four from four and they will qualify for the leaderboard in a couple of weeks if they keep picking. nutty nigel 7,513 Posted October 13, 2008 For those who are interested in the stats the 49 pickers this week had between them 18 good picks from 23 games. A success rate of 78% which is very high considering the seasons percentage is currently 58%. This is because it was International week and our pickers success rate in these games is currently 82%. 15 International matches were selected - 13 of them being good picks. But League One was also a happy hunting ground with 5/5 this week taking the overall percentage of League One up to 55% and the best strike rate of the domestic top four divisions. League Two was 0-3 proving what a minefield it has been for us this season and is now running at just 39%.Here is the full table for those of you who like to see where we seem to get most joy.
