mickey phelans tash 0 Posted September 17, 2008 I thought the Score Board had a better game. What bothers me more is Roeders constant refusal to haul him off. Also has this Koroma got a clause in his deal stating that he cannot play .Losing like that is so depressing , you would at least want to see the papers tommorow with the reports showing a Man of the Match performance from their keeper........... silver fox 0 Posted September 18, 2008 Glen Roeder clearly thinks Fotheringham is good as he made him captain, but we are talking about the same manager who prefers omozusi to otsemebor, thinks Russell is a good forward, and refers to Hoolahan as one of the new heroes. We can''t always put all the blame on the players as Roeder is the one who selects them, and he clearly sees something that the majority of us supporters are missing. nutty nigel 7,902 Posted September 18, 2008 I fail to see why Fotheringham is being singled out for criticism tonight. None of the midfield played well tonight, Pattison was about the best of them. Which is interesting because about a month ago he was the one being singled out on this board. Nevermind - The Doc will soon be back to take over as scapegoat. Talking of which I see we conceded yet another goal from a foul given away in and around the box. How many is that this season?

But on tonights performance he was certainly not the worst. He apparently played well on Saturday and he certainly played well against Birmingham. It''s a shame Clingan got injured, I was hoping to get the chance to find out if Clingan and Russell in the centre of midfield would be better. But I can''t help remembering how the midfield fell apart when Fotheringham was out last season.

San Miguel 0 Posted September 18, 2008
none of you actually watch him and your all ignorant tw*ts
i''ve seen every home game he has been in, and a couple of away games toohe is not good enough for this team, he is not a captain, he adds nothing to the play, and i''d rather have Andy Hughes back in the line up (and i really didn''t like Andy Hughes) to even tempt me to doubt my belief tell me this - can you recall one particular moment in any match where he has made a big contribution? i can''t, but i could with almost anyone else in the team
