Scooby 0 Posted September 18, 2008 My friends and I have noticed this season that we don''t seem to be a threat at all from any dead ball situation. I know Sibs scored against Plymouth (not quite sure how that went in) and Rusty bundled one in from 2 yards after a corner against Blackpool, but generally speaking our delivery from corners is pretty dire. We also seem to have no one who can really worry the opposition directly from a free kick. Fozzy eventually managed to get one on target against QPR but, as usual, with no power at all. Isn''t there anyone in the squad who can do better? The only one I can think of who was a genuine threat was Lappin. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

GJP 79 Posted September 18, 2008 It also helps beating the first man and keeping them away from the ''keeper.It wasn''t until the vey end of the game last night that Fozzie put in a decent corner. But he''s not the only offender, we have been fairly useless in recent seasons.I thought they said Sammy Clingan strikes a good dead ball?
