Peter 0 Posted August 27, 2004 I may be the only one who feels we have a squad that will do us admirably, certainly we could easily handle employing a class front man, but can we afford one, is one available? Although some are not the top Prem quality they will not let us down and are hungry to improve.Although the Doc was brought in as a defensive player, as a target man he didn''t put a foot wrong and Niall Quinn felt whilst with the Irish squad the Doc was better as an attacker. A 100% player, but would Johannson be any better ? Perhaps Nigel can persuade the Doc he is better served up front. After all Flem and Simon C have done little wrong and there is still Malky and Shacks (remember him). Saturday could well tell us whether the Doc can cut it, let the Doc loose on Lehmann!
