Scot-e-dog 34 Posted September 7, 2008 OB1 speaks the truth. This is why it is actually illegal to make copies of things like school photos. It doesn''t matter who the picture is of, it is about who took it.We had a weird incident on eBay where someone started using a picture we took to advertise their item. We reported them to eBay, who immediately took action. eBay informed us that this was because we owned the rights to the picture (and also because a photo that it obviously not ''stock'' is misrepresenting the item). Camuldonum 0 Posted September 8, 2008
At the end of the day... he can''t claim copyright because he put it on the internet in the first place :) Serves you right... mwuahaha! :)
He can claim copyright on the internet, or attempt to, with the usual caveats or the reproduction rights posted across the photo. In this case, I think it unlikely. He feels he has got stitched up on an exclusive Norwich City FC photograph.Okay: "What am I bid for this exclusive photograph of a Norwich City moment."Answer: Nothing saleable outside Norfolk. And Archant''s idea of exclusive is about £100 maximum, dependent upon the reproduction size.[:|]No good.
