I take it this ''starting 11'' can only be players who have played since you have been watching. So obviously somebody like me can''t pick Norwich legends who i''m not old enough to have seen at Carrow Road.

Anyway, my faves since ive been watching:

Robert Green

Steen Nedergaard
Malky Mackay
Darren Kenton
Adam Drury (cant think of another left back since ive been watching)

Phil Mulryne (was excellent for a fair while before I get slated for that..)
Damien Francis
Paul McVeigh (as Mulryne..^^)
Darren Huckerby

Dean Ashton
Iwan Roberts

That was just thinking off the top of my head. Looking at that.. I haven''t seen many great players at Carrow Road at all... been following football for about 8 years since i was around 8 years old. But thats the best I could think of... Doesn''t look good, does it.

Kenny,

KennyFoggo,

Kenny Foggo on the wing!

Sorry - couldn''t resist that. I am very, very old.

First match was 3-1 agaist Bolton Wanderers in 1967 in the River End (half a crown to get in - cost the old man 5 bob). Ironic since I now live in the town where Mr. Megson plies his trade as a manager.

Peter Vasper in goal - slower than Gary Sprake!

Big Dunc (Forbes) kicking cr*p out of Lou Macari in the League Cup Semi second leg 1975.

Jumpers for goal posts, etc.! Sigh![:)]

Subs Keelan, Paddon, Suggett, Fox, DonowaList based on how good they were when they played for us not how good they were at their peak hence no Martin Peters, Micky Channon, Asa Hartford etc.

I thought for a minute this was not another best city team ever thread but more like a franskenstien monsters version  which for me would have left me with an awesome player in Damien Hughes - Damien Francis'' ability as an attacking midfielder linked to Andy Hughes awesome attitude and effort would have made Damien Hughes nearly a world class player ;-)

[/quote]It could go the other way too, where Dickson Robinson jogged around the midfield in circles for ninety minutes without once touching the ball. And don''t start me on Fernando Segura.
