Rethinking the future 0 Posted August 29, 2008 As far as i am aware, no team in the Championship has gone all season without being beaten. Looking back at the stats, most promoted teams lose at least 6 games per season.A simple question. If we are to lose 5 more games this season, which teams is it acceptable to lose against?Despite our good record against Birmingham in the Championship, I do not think it would be unacceptable to lose against the team that most people think will win the league, although for the record I think we will get a draw.So before everyone says it is unacceptable that we have lost, who is it acceptable to lose against? Branston Pickle 3,638 Posted August 29, 2008 Of course there is a reasonable chance that we will lose tomorrow - Brum are favourites to immediately return to the top flight, after all. But that is not to say we can''t beat them.....and sadly nor will it prevent people from going well over the top about everything if we don''t get the win. That is just the way things are.
