Student concessions?
Billy, I do also have a job, as a barman at Leicester City FC. It gives me about another £40 every couple of weeks. Perhaps you should realise that a degree should be undertaken like a full time job if you want to make the most out of it.
fair enough mate, and im sorry if im wrong on my statements im making! but majority and i mean the majority students say this yet they go on the lash every night of the week! now im not knocking the odd beverage or two son! but how is that helping their studies?

im sure 80% students in whole uk drink 4+nights a week

If you''d paid a bit more attention at school, Billy, then you wouldn''t be half the laughing stock that you currently are on this board. As well as specific subject related skills, university education is about transferable skills such as constructing arguments, developing ideas and communicating them to people in a clear, coherent, engaging and persuasive manner. Of course many people have the skills to do this without going to university or into any other type of higher education. You, I would suggest, are not one of those.
Looking at your spelling and grammar I would guess you are simply too stupid to gain a place on a University course of any subject. Im a 3rd Year student studying Law at the UEA, I cannot AFFORD to go out. Like the other students in this thread I scrape by on a weekly basis, I HAVE to work a job I hate just so I have enough cash to eat, despite the fact that it takes half my weekend and may impact on my studies. You tar every student with the same brush and come across as a complete ass doing so. It''s not an easy ride for 3 years drinking every night and meeting girls in clubs. Some of us spend hours every day buried under books in the library in an attempt to gain a degree actually WORTH something at the end.

.tax dodgers shouldn''t get anything cheaper imo, unless they was studying something worth while like teaching, nursing/doctors etc....

but my guess is he is studying something like sport science or business studies and on the lash every night

Whether it''s meant to be funny or not, the very first and last lines of your post are hilarious McD.

"You, I would suggest, are not one of those" has Blackadder humour written all over it. Brilliant.

Always amuses me when people refer to students as drains on society. What exactly do they drain these days?

Exactly Larry, I have to pay everything back plus interest. The only thing I don''t have to pay is Council Tax.

You need a physio for that. A dcotor will just refer you onto a physio if u go and see one about it as doctors dont specialise in that sort of thing!!

Most clicking that people get is quite often perfectly normal.  Its generally just tendons moving over bone.

If memory serves me correctly, apart from the family area and away section there aren''t concessions in the Jarrold. Same as in the centre seats of the city stand. Premium location gets premium prices.

very faint! Bottom line is that there''s no commercial reason to give a concession in these areas because they will always sell out at full price. Right decision in my view but hard on those who having had the seat for a while now find it hard to afford because of  a change in circumstances. Be like the rest of us - get a cheaper seat elsewhere!

There is a 16-21 age bracket discount (which is the same concession price for over 60s) but only for members.

For the Birmingham game that would be £15-£17 for most areas of the ground (or a lot more if you wish to sit in one of the lounges in the City Stand, or the middle blocks of the Jarrold Stand).

expensive it has to be said!!!!! i must admit i think we overcharge for our tickets... away fans pay through the nose to com eehere and i have a feeling the empty seats at carrow road are due to the casual supporter not prepared to pay so much for a ticket.. it would cost a small fortune to take a family!

The club need to review the prices... we arent a premiership side and prices should reflect this.

jas :)
