sonyc 5,517 Posted August 26, 2008 Just thinking...is Lupoli the first Italian to sign for us? We''ve had Gaetano Giallanza, think he was half Swiss, Victor Segura, Spanish, and a few French (Louis Jean T, De Blois, Marc Libbra and one or two others whose names escape me) but I cannot recall one Italian? LQ 0 Posted August 26, 2008 He certainly is - and once you''ve tried one, you never go back (or so Gianluca Vialli used to say...)[;)]
Pete Raven 276 Posted August 26, 2008 He is (which in itself warrants chants of ''Oh Lupoli'' to the tune of the Italian anthem), and ''Juice'' is our first Gambian and I believe Stefanovic is our first ever Serb.

Mr Gradgrind 0 Posted August 26, 2008 Just did a quick websearch and here are the types of Canaries there are. As you can see the Italian is at the bottom so that must be Lupoli - not sure what his Gibber is, but hopefully it helps get 20 goals a seasonBorder or Border Fancy The speckled Lizard canary The many varieties of Crested canaries. The smaller crested Gloster The large and strong Norwich Fife Yorkshire Stafford The large and sometimes crested Lancashire Columbus Fancy Belgian Hunchback Scotch Fancy Italian Gibber Italicus

ncfcstar 291 Posted August 26, 2008 I was bored with just having Roeder Supporter lol, so I was looking around for something interesting to put in, not aiming for something that is completely off topic though, so I think it is a temporary solution. It''s basically a PS3 sig, shows what game I am playing, and how much I have completed of certain games. Amazingly geeky I know! But like I said, probably temporary. Rudolph Hucker 0 Posted August 26, 2008 Actually, excavations have uncovered football matches in Norfolk as early as 56AD.Brancaster Rovers had a side composed entirely of Italians, although the same could not be said for Caistor St. Edmunds Tuesday who had an Italian manager but a first team composed entirely of local tribesmen. The two met in the final of the Challenge Chalice in May 56 at Bramptuna (near Aylsham) who had their own side interestingly nicknamed ''The Potters.''Caistor''s indiginous eleven didn''t just get beat, they were absolutely crucified on the day and shortly afterwards the club folded as it couldn''t field enough players. Their place in the Ickneid League was taken by Burgh Castle Legionnaires who had a continental set up and a mixed group of various captured players from all over Europe.Lupoli actually follows a long tradition.
