Is it Russell time?

Recommended Posts

I don''t know about the rest of you, but I feel our management can''t see the wood from the trees some times?

Daryl Russell is a skillful trier who always gives 100% and will play any where.

What does he get in return?

A place on the bench! Now come on guys, Daryl is as good if not better than any didfielder in the squad.

Give him a run and see the results.

And why isn''t Luke given a chance? He is an attacking midfielder who has vision. We are

desperately in need of vision to give the front men a few more options.

PS I have been watching NCFC for over 50 years so I do know something.

In that case... we leave it in your reliable hands to write one haha :) maybe a little sing song expressing our need for Chadwick may make Glenn realise :)

I''m a bit disappointed Rusty didn''t start at Coventry. He was 2nd in our player of the season, scored 2 goals against Colchester and is our most experienced midfielder at this level. And as we all know he''s probably the most likely to score a goal.

As for Luke Chadwick, he''s a good footballer but his injury record is a bit worrying when you''re looking to build a new/solid team. I still prefer Crofty because he gives us a different outlet, even if his final ball isn''t particularly great.

I think its certain Bell is the first choice right winger, Chadwick can surely last 2 or 3 games 90 minutes - at least he provides a service similar to Bell rather than that of Croft which is all running and no final product. Chadwick and Bell are similar, not always running, quality passing and willing to put in decent crosses.

Yeah, looking forward to seeing what Bell can do.

Not sure what role Chadwick will be playing in things though.

Once upon a team there was a guy called Crofty

He was quick, but his crosses came in far too lofty

His shots were placed into goalkeepers arms

So the right of midfield couldn’t cause any harm

His sole competition was man name of Chadwick

Too often in need of a walking stick

His skills were much better, but one big question…

Could he stay fit long enough to express them?

Then out of the blue came a boy named Bell

But if he is better, the fans can’t yet tell

His reputation was good; his skills came commended…

Has the Norwich search for their right winger ended??

Now if that doesnt get the message to Glenn I don''t know what will [:P]
