KeelansGlove 0 Posted August 5, 2008 I believe I am correct that we can only field a maximum of 5 loan players in the squad which limits our options certainly on the bench. I would think that we will line up something like thisMarshallOmozusi/Otsemabor Shackell/Kennedy Stefanovic BertrandCroft Fozzie/Russell Clingan HoolahanLupoli/Cureton OJ/otherThat would give us 4 loanees in the 11 obviously if we signed another Loan Striker that would mean we would have to leave a loanee defender out of the squadBench 1) Omozusi/Otsemabor 2) Cureton/Lupoli 3) Fozzie/Russell 4) OJ/Other/Kennedy/Shackell 5) NelsonWe couldnt have all of the following in the squad Omozusi Kennedy Betrand Lupoli OJ + Target Man I hope this suggests we are looking to Sign a Target man on a permanent basis which would allow us to play all our Loanees in the same squad.Ideally a bench with 2 strikers a keeper and 1 each Midfield and DefenceStarting to look like a half decent squad if we can find the right front manMy choice would beMarshallOtsemabor Shackell Stefanovic BertrandCroft Russell Clingan HoolahanCureton OJ/OtherBench Lupoli Fozzie Kennedy/Other/OJ Omozusi NelsonGive Lupoli and Kennedy time to gain match fitness perhaps 30/40 mins if neccesary Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I think Kennedy will be played up to 45 mins to help his fitness. Clingan and Hoolahan would be first on my list and Bertrand too, provided he''s fit. Russell deserves to start but may be sub. for the second half. But no-one''s mentioned Pattison and I wouldn''t be surprised if he is on the bench too. Most away games last year he had Croft available but only made the bench and I cant see this changing.So for Coventry i''d expect: MarshallOmozusi Stefanovic Kenndy BertrandRussell Clingan Fotheringham Hoolahan Lupoli Koroma / new striker Hoolahan can drop behind the strikers, Russell can tuck into the middle with Clingan and Fozzy and break down he right when there''s space. I suspect that''s what Bell was brought here to do - with Russell rotating with Fozzy in the middle.Unless, if a Shola-type player comes in, we go with 1 up front and five in the middle....I hope not though.
