Would Chris Martin be out of the squad photo, thus indicating he is out on loan, if our target man was not almost signed?

I''m hoping it means he is going to be sold, but I''m sure there is some obscure reason why... a few other youngun''s with first team contracts aren''t in there either, such as Renton, Spillane and Daley are not in it either if my memory serves me right.

Maybe there is a recommended limit on how many squad players you put in your squad photo?

true, this would certainly suggest to me that someone is on their way

Yes I would assume that Martin missing from the photo means that Glenn is confident of getting other players in, whether he does or not is another matter.

I so want it to be Ameobi thats on his way, and I really think, rather than the youth theory Carrow Roeder put forward, the fact that Martin isn''t in the photo indicates a lengthy loan soewhere.

I don''t think people are really thinking things out when they say the want Sibereski, Iversen, or Howard they have no long term value to the club all in the last couple of years of their productive football life, so Shola all the way for me.

I posted on here on Sunday or Monday that a deal was all but done for our target man after talks over the weekend and he would sign Monday or Tuesday. I suppose the info I was given could apply to Shola 6ft 2 +,  black,  and played from youth age for a top club, but I got the impression he was from a lower league club, but maybe I missed understood something. I honestly thought it was Beckford, but would rather take Shola, fingers crossed guys
