Nickname

I might get acused of heracy, but I''ve always found our nickname a bit, well, limp. I know it has history and was the reason we ended up playing in green and yellow, but how about something a bit more edgy like

• THE CRABS (as in Cromer....)
• THE TURKEYS (.....mmm, maybe not)
• THE POSTMEN (ol'' Molly Windly, she smook like a chimney)
• THE PUBS (more than any other per capita in UK)
• THE CHURCHES (more than any other per cpaita....plus a bit of divine intervention would not go amiss if we can''t raise more money)
• THE BOOTS (Norvic, Startright)
• THE MUSTARD FARMERS (Colmans)
• THE STOOKEY BLUES (as in the mussels, but a bit to binner-ish for comfort)
• THE DELIAS (ooooh steady on)

Any better ideas????

our original nickname was actually the citizens... it only got canged to "the Canaries" when Manager of the time, Arthur Bowman, referred to us as "my Norwich Canaries" the name stuck and the kit changed from Blue and White, to white, to Yelllow and green....

Look it up in any club history....
