Berkshire Canary 12 Posted July 30, 2008
Us, Sheffield Wed and 1 other!
Oh dear....... [^o)]I think Blackpool, Doncaster and Sheffield Wednesday. Also get the feeling that Plymouth, Barnsley and Bristol City could be in for a tough season.
Chunky Norwich 0 Posted July 30, 2008 I think Barnsley could have a really good season, not pushing for champions or anything but a good season. I''ve been very impressed with their signings so far

ncfcstar 289 Posted July 30, 2008 Blimey Wiz, I can''t believe you are still basing your opinions on a friendly match, is the academy in dire straights because they lost to Dereham?? Does Ipswich beating Brighton 3-2 last night mean that they would struggle to beat an average League One side week in week out? No it doesn''t because it was a friendly, aimed at fitness and gelling a team!Personally I think it will be:22 Blackpool23 Plymouth24 BarnsleyWhoever predicted Swansea to finish bottom is way off, I would expect them to be in and around the top half, maybe even the playoffs. If Bertrand had stayed on we would have most likely have lost 2 maybe 3-1 because our defence up until his substitution was v. solid. Calm down Mr. Wizard! venta icenorum 0 Posted July 30, 2008 If Saints'' situation doesn''t improve they could well go down - all their players have left, or have decided on burglary as a more lucrative career than being on the Southampton payroll.Swansea and Barnsley probably too good to go down. Blackpool look like they may have peaked already in this division and Doncaster may find it tough over the course of a whole season like scunthorpe did.So my predictions are:22nd - Blackpool23rd - Southampton24th - Doncaster (not Neil)

You really are a very boring little old man. Even if you truly believe that we are to be relegated - why continually post the same old crap on this site several times daily? It takes time for a team to gel and for new signings to settle in - looking at the bookies verdict we will finish midtable (and they are rarely wrong). On paper we have made improvements to the squad too. Remarks like this are in no way beneficial for the team or the other people on the website. BOOOOO!!!! Thecanaryfan 0 Posted July 30, 2008 Cant understand why so many people think Shef Weds will go down and not us!!!! They have the best manger in the league in Brian Laws and the team is full of quality. I actually see them as playoff contenders more than anything.
