Not sure whether I have missed something, but have we announced whether we are going to give this keeper a contract?  I was under the impression that he was playing vs Kings Lynn and we were going to make a decision straight after - has anyone heard anything.  I''m asking partly because I was just on the NCFC site, and noticed that his name is in the "first team squad profile" under 13 (shared with Rudd, suggesting it probably doesn''t mean a lot - Kennedy isn''t even on it yet and we know he is coming for certain).

Glenn told the media on Monday night after the Spurs game that he would let Nelson know after the Colchester game regarding the contract.

Definately a case of one or the other, just feel sorry for the Peterborough no. 2, his name is beyond me but he came out and declared his desire to come to Norwich, he seems to have just been ignored somewhat!

That would be Mark Tyler. Good League Two player and until the arrival of Mr Lewis a local hero at the Posh, longest serving player (Goalkeepers RUs) - not sure he could step up to your level.  Orient fans not sure Nelson can either - given that in the event of  injury they would step straight in.

still dont think we need a new keeper,if marshall gets injured at any point we could bring a better one in on loan. spend all spair cash on decent striker. whats the point in say paying 3k a week on someone who is not gonna play.

Ermmm, not if he pulls a muscle in  the warm up as happened to Deano Col U v Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday.

Fortunately young Mark (due on second half) was able to step in and play throughout (and played very well).  It''s such a specialist position that it''s not one to take chances with (my opinion).

You can if you want.  I wouldn''t.

but they say rudd a good keeper would be good enough for a couple of games while a loan is sorted. all depends on how much money we really have

After the Lynn game I''d rather not see Nelson at NCFC. He''d do my head in with his constant, booming, patronising commentary!
