Not one for rumours, and in no way saying its remotely true. But overheard someone yesterday say that Heskey may be coming here on loan, expect news tomorrow. Apparently this has come from "Stewards and players"

Anyone heard anything similar?

Again, not saying its true, and given that id expect Heskey will start for Wigan im taking it with a huge pinch of salt.

Like you said, he''s a regular fixture in the Latics'' first team so I really can''t see that happening, without being too negative on City it would be a huge step back in his career, he''s even mentioned in the odd England squad when he''s on good form for Wigan!

As you mentioned, I think we should hit this one on the head and forget about it.

If we are getting a player from Wigan, surely Sibierski is more likely?  Certainly Heskey played in their friendly vs Sheff Wed yesterday, Sib was on the bench, if that is anything at all to go by; tbh I would probably settle for either of them!

Glad im not the only one.

I think its rubbish, as someone said earlier Sibierski is the more likely Wigan player, but thought id see if it was a wide spread rumour or not.

I know it is probably a load of rubbish anyway, cant see Heskey coming here on loan.  But you would prefer to have Russell playing up front for us than Heskey on loan??  That takes some beating!  Loans are part of competing in the Championship, you need to deal with that.
