In the past few weeks i have read and heard players talking about the new season and how it will be so different from last season

for example; fozzy wants people to see him and think of him as a prem player, lupoli saying wait untill he is 100% fit and we will see what he is all about, cureton and croft both saying they need to score more goals, the gaffer saying we have the best two young defenders in the county on loan, also saying kennedy is a great cb!

Now with the 1st game of the season fast approaching we need to start putting all this talk into action, for some reason im mega excited about this season i don''t no why, but iff all what the players and manager have been saying come true then maybe it will be a good season!!!

It would certainly be nice to see words backed up by performances - how

many times over the last few years have the club trotted Doherty out

before a game predicting "we''re going to go all out to turn things

around today" only for them all to stroll about like they were

expecting a picnic... hopefully the new blood will be made of tougher

stuff and actually bother caring about the result, unlike so many I can

mention (mostly now departed, thankfully)
