- You can always rely on Bellars - Good man

...after starting a brawl in a casino in Sierra Leone this summer (I mean of all places) then abusing some binners last night afters scoring - we need to aknowledge just how off his trolley he his. However the really funny thing about the article is that Suffolk havePc Mark Norman, Suffolk police''s football intelligence officer, said:

“Both Ipswich Town and West Ham are aware of an alleged incident that

is being investigated internally. If a criminal offence is identified

then we will take things further.”

hahahahhha Suffolk police football intelligence officer - they recruited him from outside the county then!!?? :-)

Hang on a second, from what I have read there is zero evidence of abuse. However, I bet he and Deano were the victims of abuse themselves. There was obviously some sort of minor spat with the fans probably after alot of provocation but why can''t people just shrug their shoulders and move on ? Why are the police always looking for evidence of a criminal offence instead of looking for real criminals. I recall the Palace fan being karate kicked by the Utd player all those years ago because allegedly he shouted "you French B" but why was that so hard for the player to take ? If someone called me an English B I would just laugh at the stupidity of the implied insult safe in the knowledge that I am one of around 50 million English people. I just don''t know anymore !

Bellars, what an absolute legend he is and I hope beyond hope that he plays for us again one day.

His goal when we beat them one nil at their foul unpaid for dump in a mid week game remains one of the highlights over the last 33 years year, absolutely mental night and absolute carnage as the little Welshman taunted the Mockney Inbreds, happy days.

The thing with Bellars is who his learnt his trade from as a 16 year old, playing under the watchful tutelage of a certain Robert Fleck who can be surprised that he knows how to taunt the Ocean Finance boys down the A140? Give the lad a pat on the back

Now as for this bit

Pc Mark Norman, Suffolk police''s football intelligence officer, said: “Both Ipswich Town and West Ham are aware of an alleged incident that is being investigated internally. If a criminal offence is identified then we will take things further.”

Well Pc Mark Norman I wholeheartedly hope you treat this incident as seriously as you did Steward 287 at the last local derby, after all Constable why worry about him gesticulating at the Norwich fans when you can ‘take things further’ with Bellars? Police and intelligence, surely one of life’s greatest oxymoron’s?

.......he is a legend alright as mentioned before my fave Bellamy stort of the summer is the Casino fight in Sierra Leonne - I mean the country is totally war torn, dangerous, where kidnapping is very high and people pack shooters - so Bellars picks a fight in the Casino......in the capital, Freetown, where all the nutters probably hang out..............priceless.Maybe Craig was commenting on the lack of supply of the night time ladies when once there were more.

The thing that is silly about the whole situation is this.  Bellamy, Ashton & Green probably had abuse at them all through the game and I''m sure it was unpleasent and I''m sure swearing was involved.  Then as soon as Bellamy shouts something back as a come back there is a police investigation.  I have to say I have no sympathy for Ipswich fans because if you are going to abuse a player you have to expect to get something back.  It seems a classic case of you can dish it out but can''t take it yourself.

I don''t understand all the praise. You think it''s acceptable for him to make comments about murder victims to a guy and his six year-old? Come on, get a grip people...

Absolutely.

The Town fan said " See you later Bellamy."

Course he did. Look at the bloke in the picture. He looks like he is easily offended.

Who appointed you judge, jury and executioner?
That is what he is alleged to have said. Doesn''t mean it happened.

On TWTD the Binner fans are actually sticking up for him. Some are hammering him as expected.

The thing i dont get is that just because someone is on £60k a week why should they be able to take abuse? I for one minute dont believe thats all the ips**t fan said!

He aint exactly a role model but i would like to see half of you lot walk through the city on a saturday nite and just "ignore" the abuse.....

after all .....your probably on more money than the drunken chav!

I think that the Ipswich fan probably said something a lot worse, and maybe Bellamy didn''t say what is alleged, but he is still a prick.

i would put the cumulative value of my 16 season tickets on the fact that what was shouted at him, green and dean throughout the course of the game was far more personal and worse. He was a much nicer figure at norwich than he has turned into and i for one applaud him for his outburst.
Any offence, hurt or upset caused to the filth is okay in my book.

Part of me is outraged that players feel they can abuse fans... but its

only a very small part - my little toe, in case you''re wondering - and

the rest of me thinks: good on you, son! I doubt very much the Scummer

was as polite as he makes out... surprised Bellers was able to

understand him through the grunting...

Oh come on, if someone said "See you later <your name>" you''re hardly going to react like that are you?

Stowmarket resident Kyle Relf-Stables, 14, also heard the abuse. “I heard him swear and say something about Ipswich prostitutes. I think that it was atrocious because young kids where there, he said it in front of the family stand.”

Terrible journalism on the Pink''un article.

Is Kyle talking about his own kids ?

As others have mentioned, the most amusing thing about all of this is what the binner apparently said to Bellas...

''See you later, Bellamy''.....?!?.....I''m sure that''s exactly how he put it Hmm [^o)]

Haha very true Alex!!! ''See you later Bellamy'' my arse, it''s one thing I don''t like about football fans, they love giving the abuse out, but as soon as it comes back off they go crying to the stewards.

[/quote]Maybe Bellars took this to mean the binner was an Ipswich Prostitute offering services? I went to ipswich once by accident and noticed a lot of the women look like men. Obviously clean living Bellars would not be interested so would tell the Ho'' to go away.

ncfcstar, exactly my point.  If you can''t take it don''t dish it out.  Hopefully the Ipswich fan will think twice about abusing the former Norwich players next time.  Who knows what was said but as mentioned it wasn''t see ya later but more like f*** off Bellamy.

I like the caption under the photo of Deryck - apparently he "...shouter at Bellamy..." Shouter? Also the EADT felt the need to mention that 6-year-old Imogen was the one on the left!By the way, Poorman Road doesn''t look very full in the snap does it?Pink''Un is a bit lazy, just reprinting the story without spell-checking it - you might know the Suffolk journos have trouble typing with the extra fingers getting in the way. At least they dropped the word ''notorious'' from the opening sentence.
