Web Team - Vince 0 Posted April 28, 2004 Posted By: Duncan I run Canaries for the Community (CFTC) which is a community initiative from NCFC supported by Norwich Union. Each year we have two projects involving Norwich fans, one of which is at a non league football club. This year''s projects are: Saturday 5th June 2004 at Thetford Town FC. Work will be painting various parts of their ground Saturday 3rd July 2004 at Bowthorpe, Norwich. Gardening work for a local voluntary project Can you help with either project? The idea of the scheme is to show that NCFC fans care about their community and the grass roots of football and for the volunteer fans to have a really enjoyable day. Each volunteer gets a free CFTC T-shirt and baseball cap, free lunch, free entry to a competition to win a meal for two at Delia''s Restaurant* and the chance to meet club officials. No specialist skills required but volunteers should be 16 years old or over and reasonably fit and healthy. To sign up e-mail duncan@macinnes551.fslife.co.uk with your name, address and telephone number so that I can contact you. You will also get a letter from NCFC nearer the time confirming the details of the day. * Competition closing date 31st May 2004 Also see [link]http://new.pinkun.com/Forums/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=28765[/link]
