ahh ace!that''s unlucky for her [;)]naah I''m joking, it''s a lovely townThere are few Norwich fans up here - there''s about 15 that I know personally (there were about 10 that I didn''t know in the office where I did my work experience a few years back) and I often see the odd Norwich shirt about. The reason I''ve been told for all the Norwich fans in this area is that the miners used to down to Norfolk for their holidays and then supported Norwich as their second team - and a lot of my mates still go every year with their family. Chesterfield are also a bit of a second team of mine, although I dont really follow them too much, I often go down to Saltergate on a tuesday night if I cant get to the Norwich match - and for under a tenner, you cant go wrong! As for any Spireites following us, I doubt they would - they seem to prefer mocking us Norwich fans despite being two division below us!!!!I got ripped a bit when we signed Clingan as he played for them a couple of years back! [:(]

I forget the name of the place, but I stayed in a hotel in Chesterfield

once courtesy of the Onion and it was ace.  Had just one huge

dining table, which its apparently famous for, and the chef/owner

resembled Brian Blessed with a classic big white chef''s hat.  He

simply asked us what we didn''t like, then went away and knocked up a

posh four-course dinner.  All on the company. [:)]

That sounds like Buckingham''s!My mum went there for her 40th Birthday meal, said it was brilliant! She also described it as a room with a big dining table that sits about 8 people and you just say what you like and the chef comes back with a four course meal!!

Yep, that''s the one! Excellent little hotel, food was amazing and we

stayed up in their little bar for hours drinking quality beer and wine!

The room and meal together only cost something like £70 each! Quality

place...
