William Darby 0 Posted July 14, 2008 No, I''m not going to say this MUST be ''the'' reason, but it could be ''a'' reason.A lot of fans assume Delia won''t sell. Bear in mind Delia shares he majority with Fatty Boom Boom Michael. Suppose Delia would cut a deal, but Michael ''where''s me fags'' Wyn Bonus has put his foot down, and he''s the one not wanting to sell?I''m just as guilty for assuming it''s basically between Delia and a would be investor, but in reality Michael has got to agree as well.Any thoughts about that? Pieman 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Funnily enough, that ties in with what I heard.

silver fox 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Just my own thoughts but maybe they don''t want Cullum to succeed where they failed. I have a lot of respect for what Delia and Michael did in putting their money into the club, but I believe they are too nice, and don''t have the financial clout to compete at the highest level. They did get us back into the Premiership, but they didn''t invest enough money to stay there. They also backed Nigel Worthington far too long after it was clear that he couldn''t get us back up again. If they did hand over control we would then have a financial backer and loyal supporter and a good manager, who arguably could get us into the Premiership and keep us there. Peter Cullum didn''t get where he is today by being too nice. Glen Roeder is reportedly quite ruthless, and clearly knows a good footballer when he sees one. Give Glen the money he requires and he will sign players good enough to get us promoted. Once promoted, he then requires further substantial financial backing to keep us there; that is where Peter Cullum comes in.
silver fox 0 Posted July 14, 2008 Having just read ''man in the stands'' report it is just possible that Delia and Michael really don''t want to give it up to anyone.
