stumpy 0 Posted May 1, 2004 At long last, Radio 5 Live have finally recognised us as a realistic prospect. A full 10 minute interview with Worthy on the Wright & Bright show. Who knows, they may even stop referring to us as ''plucky little Norwich'' in such patronising tones!
Chris Prudden 0 Posted May 1, 2004 well sorry i missed it, a mention on national (sorry london) radiowonder what they will call us, seeing ipswich were christened the tractor boysi don''t know if i am ready to be called the combine crew!!!
blacko 0 Posted May 1, 2004 I listened to that, it was the most animated that I have ever heard Nigel be. Bright kept calling him Barney, which was obviously his nickname at Sheffield Wed. Barneys Green and Yellow army has a nice ring to it.
Mouse 0 Posted May 1, 2004 I''m certain this has been said before but. . .ipswich were only called the tractor boys because they did not have a nickname and as we already have one in ''the canaries'' they, being the national press, don''t have to think of anything to call us.
