Alternative Investment?

Recommended Posts

Well, what a kick in the balls this morning, I am totally gutted like the vast majority of City fans.

Whilst we don''t know all the facts, it does seem that Delia & Co have destroyed one of the most promising development opportunities that our club has ever faced......or has she?

*Why did Cullum release his press statement days after Delias Norfolk Show ststement?

*Why did Delia hint at investment at the show?

*Why did GR hint at signings that would turn a few heads before the Norfolk show interview with Delia?

Was Cullum attempting to hijack another source of investment by generating public support for his proposal? This could explain the "hint" at investment from Delia, knowing that a source of investment (not yet made public) is going through the motions ( not forgetting PC made his proposal known "after" the show )

Also, GR has maintained his stance on new signings, which of course you would expect him to, however, we have had no news from him that we have lost the players we are after so we have to believe him until proven otherwise.

Has the whole Cullum episode created a smokescreen to conceal the "real deal" going on behind the scenes- an alternative investor?

I guess we will find out soon enough, if GR releases some big name signings ( and I mean "BIG" ) then we will have to assume some investment has been made and that the investment source will be made public in due course.

If no signings of signifficant impact are made and no official news of investment is announced prior to the 9th August, then that is the time for the City faithful to let hell loose, until then, patience through these testing times but perhaps the banners should be dusted off and made ready!

I have to admit, my understanding before all this Cullum nonsense broke

out was that there was potential investment, though the emphasis was on

potential.  It''ll be interesting to see what happens next.

If there is no money coming in from elsewhere then Delia''s position

will be - if indeed it already isn''t - untenable.

Btw, SAFU2007... surely you should change your name and sig to SAFU2008 now....? [:P]

Here''s to hopeing, hopeing that we all got this very wrong and infact Delia and Co were plotting away at an amzing masterplan to get us the investment we need to make a push for promotion.

Of course that''s all it is right now a wishful dream, and I strugle to hope when it comes to NCFC right now, especially now our hopes of a Cullum takeover have been crused with a singe one paragraph statement this morning.

after the announcement Cheif executive Neil

Doncaster moved to reassure fans over future investement at Carrow

Road..saying that the Canaries "actively seek" a wealthy investor,

ideally with Norfolk links. What a joke this Board are we would be better off if they just all sod off.
