The sheer idiocy is becoming seriously tiresome

Recommended Posts

The continuous drivel posted by 1stWizard and those similarly minded is getting to beyond a joke.  None of us know the details of the discussions between Cullum and the club therefore it is impossible to draw any valid or considered conclusion.   We do not know what offer, if any, was made so how we can assume that Delia & Co have not acted in the best interests of the club?  The childish ranting only serves to indicate a fundamental inability to see things in anything other than black and white.  Please grow up.

Whatever the offer was it was better than the nothing Smith has to offer , what was the poll in the edp 85.5 % wanted Cullum , Smith and her coonies didnt , they are probably creaming off  to much money to want out .

The key shareholders are not getting any divi, interest or salary so how are they "creaming off"?

Oh great, more people who are willing to mud-sling and call names rather than present a factual argument.Don''t you get bored of defending them?

so you cant stick up for delia cos you dont know how it went down, but you are. people are making their own opinions and there is nothing wrong with that personaly i think that they should come to a compromise delia is being unrealistic with her valuations and cullum is being stubborn, there is a simple out come if both parties want it, that is what people are questioning is delia holding out to line her pockets or has she got the interest of the club at heart? but the silence from the club is defening and until they come out and say this is what happend your gonna get the delia out chants. personally i dont care who runs the club or the politics it involves, people have forgoten what norwich is, its a football club, i support roeder and the players and want the best for them to get us success and i think cullum was the man we needed to back us and its a shame no deal could be done.

With all the drivel posted on this forum about how football club owners have to be selfless bottomless cash pits, it really is little wonder no agreement could be reached. And why should Cullum want to invest in such an ungrateful bunch of lowlifes? If M&S shopppers suddenly decided they didn''t want to pay their way, and expected the shareholders to support the business whilst they got the benefit, why would anyone want to invest?

Incorrect statements like they are probably creaming off which is blatantly unsubstantiated and contradicts the evidence are boring... I don''t believe that any supporter didn''t want PC to provide money for players but he was unwilling to do this unless  he acquired a  majority which he does not appear willing to pay for.  The shareholders publicly announced a fair price and it seems that PC was not willing to pay. If supporters are willing to give they assets to NCFC for less than fair value then it is a valid position but otherwise the criticism is hypocritical.

Sorry the Poll in the EDP was not "Delia and her coonies out" [sic] but should Peter Cullum be allowed to invest in the club. As such it was virtually impossible for anyone to vote No because then they were saying that nobody should be allowed to invest in the club.

It is impossible to "creaming off  to much money to want out" when you are a director of a Plc as your income is subject to public scrutiny and if you are found out to be doing so you end up in jail for fraud. (just ask one of Peter Cullum''s entrepreneurial Insurance contemporaries Michael Bright of Independent Insurance on that point)

Delia Smith does not have to offer anything - as the club have said today if the story was as negligently presented by Archant in all their waffle "£20m for players" then Peter Cullum would have been welcomed with open arms but that story was rubbish.

Indeed I have heard from a source close to the Towergate Offices (Pete) that the opportunity was there to buy the 29.9% shareholding at £30 per share (this would not give control nor trigger the need to buy 100% of the club and pay off the debts). This would have still allowed £15m to have been injected for players and leave Delia and MWJ as the largest shareholders (with 32%) but this was not taken up.

Mind you the source was my mate in the Old Tea Warehouse Pub round the corner from the office this Lunchtime and neither of us works for Towergate but there is enough content in that paragraph for others to take it as fact - and that unfortunately is the scariest fact of the last week.

Do you think the deal is really dead i don''t.Or is it because we have 6 weeks before the transfer window end''s and as Doomcaster has said clubs now think we have 20 million in the kitty and all the prices go up? We are in desperate need of players and going through a takeover with 6 weeks to go is cutting it fine tbh .Hence why we have not signed anyone latelyJust a wild shot in the dark, hunch , dream whatever you want to call it.

So true, but that won''t stop the bandwagon/witch-hunt.

A few day ago someone complains about a comedian stereo-typing the Norfolk people as in-breds.

Spend a few minutes looking through the forum today and the cap really fits.
