Nishclishbang 0 Posted July 3, 2008 I''m sure news of Rob Green''s trek up Kilimanjaro has made it to these pages, but a pal of mine (sadly and Arsenal man through and through) trekked up Kilimanjaro with Greeno last week. Greeno did it for AMREF (google AMREF+Rob Green if you want to sponsor him), my mate (second from left in picture) for Treehouse.All told, the nicest bloke in the world, although I think we knew that anyway. Just thought I''d share these 2 pics on a slow news day. With the (often deserved) bad rap footballers get, nice that one of them chose to do something fantastic in his summer off. Berkshire Canary 12 Posted July 3, 2008 There was an article in todays Sun (Yeah, I know!!!) about him visiting the shanty towns in Kenya, it is great that he is making a difference when most of the high profile players are swanning off on holiday, got nothing but respect for the guy.
