Found this interesting ....

As a Shelbourne fan for the last decade or so, the player that stood out for me was Wesley Hoolahan. He had the ability to make everybody lean forward in anticipation every time he touched the ball. I''ll always remember his outstanding display in front of 28,000 in Lansdowne Road against Deportivo. It was a match in which he made Juan Carols Valeron, a Spanish international, look patently average.

I know I really should be getting on with my work but here are a couple of offerings for some Hoolahan songs (I know!...dont give up the day job!)

To the traditional "My Old Man" tune

My old man said "Follow Hoolahan, and dont dilly dally on the way!"

Off went the Hools with the home crowd cheerin,

He''s gonna score, so lets all get the beer in

He dillied and dallied, dallied and he dillied,

Lost the ball, but won it back again.

You can trust this winger cos he''ll  shimmy past a binner

and he takes a mean old pen''

...and another, to the traditional, "When Irish eyes are smiling tune"

When Hoolahan is smiling,
Sure, ''tis like the morn in Spring.
In the lilt of Irish laughter
You can hear all Yellows sing.
When Norwich hearts are happy,
All the Barclay starts to sway.
And when Hoolahan is  smiling,
Sure, he''ll score at home and away.
