Brum Uni Canary 0 Posted May 4, 2004 Now we have definitely won the league, I think NW should play some of the players without the 1st team match time this year. Give Crichton a game for starters and also perhaps Rivers, Henderson, Jarvis and Shackell. We have nothing to lose and it would be nice to see some of the players left out regularly. Iwan starting as well. CrichtonEdworthy Fleming Shackell Drury Rivers Holt Cooper Jarvis Roberts HuckerbySubs: Green, Briggs, Henderson, Svensson, Francis Obviously Cooper is playing out of position, but who cares? We are the Champions!

AJ 1,218 Posted May 5, 2004 cooper is actualy left footed, so he prefers the right.......its just cause huckerby pulls back so nigel put him over on the right to let him do his stuff.agree with what you put for a squad, but maybe bring chriton on as a sub, we want greeno to start dont we?????? Jonzey 0 Posted May 5, 2004 I think we should start with Hendo, Shackell and Jarvis. Bring Iwan on as a half time sub for Jarvis and give him one last send off. Leave the rest of the team as usual as I''d really like to see one last win to see us leave the Nationwide forever on a high.Don''t bother with Crichton and Rivers though. Ayrton Twigge 0 Posted May 5, 2004 Top suggestion - but I would tweak ever so slightly.Would retain Green - deserves his ever present role, ditto Fleming and Holt.Glad to see Rivers there. Now he has slipped well down the pecking order. Perhaps a last opportunity to show what he can do. On that basis I would play 4-4-2 and bring Mulryne in - he too deserves a start.Of the two up front, I would go Jarvis and Mackenzie .GreenEdworthy Fleming Shackell Drury Rivers Mulryne Holt Cooper Jarvis MackenzieSubs: Roberts, Crichton, Briggs, Henderson, Francis
Tufnell Park Canary 0 Posted May 5, 2004 Let''s give Hendo & Jarvis a start up front - they could be the future and they deserve a reward for their progress through the ranks. I suppose the same goes for Shackell.
no1canary 0 Posted May 5, 2004 why would u play rivers ahead of mulryne? makes no sense.greenedworthy fleming shackell drurymcveigh mulryne holt/francis brennanroberts jarvis/mckenzie
Brum Uni Canary 0 Posted May 5, 2004 1) There is nothing to lose2) He hasnt played league football since about September (haven''t got a programme to hand to be precise)3) Crewe is his old team (lame reason I know)4) NW should give him a chance to show his worth before summer transfers get going.Neil Adams was talking about Rivers about a month ago on Canary Call - he may perform better in the premiership (even as a sub) because there is more space for him to run. Dirty Lyle 0 Posted May 6, 2004 We don''t have the same problem as Arsenal who have to play Keown every game to get Mr Sourface his medal so no reason not to play 4-3-3 with our usual team and stuff Crewe good n proper.Mulryne, Jarvis and the Big Man all to come onNW to be professional to the end.
