personally i wouldnt want to spend 1m on 29yr old from abroad

you dont seem to see to many success stories in our league of older foreigners coming in

also if he doesnt adapt then you will prob only get 400k back tops for the lad

but maybe its just me being negative, cant really comment to much on him as never seen him play

in both papers is shows pics of ronaldo on holiday reading there newspapers and saying

"ronaldo read nations best paper" etc... .rather funny as he bought both

I have to agree with Mick on this.    I have concerns if we are spending 1million on a 29year old from a little German team.   Thankfully it was only in the sun.

Mainz are a bigger club in Germany than Norwich are in England...

The daily star is reporting the same thing....so maybe some truth in this. Usually wears No.4 Jersey and my opinion...a very very good defender well worth the £1m being mentioned.

 

He was voted the best defender in BundesLiga 2. Noveski is very popular among the people from Bitola.

Club

Stearman, raised in Leicestershire, joined the Leicester City''s youth academy in 1998 having been spotted playing for his local side Harborough Town. Equally adept at playing at right-back or centre-back, he signed his first professional contract in 2004, shortly after having won Leicester''s Young Player of the Year award in 2003/04.

He made his senior debut aged 17, on 30 October 2004 in a goalless draw at Cardiff, and finished his first season with 8 appearances to his name. He became a first team regular in 2005/06, and attracted a bid from Sunderland, rejected by then-manager Rob Kelly, who said he was unwilling to part with one of his players he considered a hot prospect.^[1] He remained with the club for two more seasons, and won both Player of the Year and Player''s Player of the Year awards for 2007/08.^[2]

After Leicester were relegated to League One, Stearman signed for Wolverhampton Wanderers on 25 June 2008 on a four year deal.^[3]

Stearman was called up by the England Under-21 squad in November 2007 for the 2009 European Championship qualifiers, however he was an unused substitute in the games. He has also represented England at Under-17 and Under-18 level.
