Good find, but no idea where they get their info from - or that Delia has anything whatsoever with our transfer negotiations!!  Given that FIFA/FA etc are looking into QPR''s dealings with Blackpool, it would be a surprise if he went there.

Think you;ll find that Albrechtsen is primarily c/b - from the Birmingham Mail, 8/4/08:

Not sure we''ll get him, as WBA wanted to keep him and has also been linked elsewhere.  But he would be a fantastic signing - perhaps if the whispers of new investment are correct there might be something in it.

One question would anyone be concerned that he is a former Ipswich player.  This hasn''t really been mentioned with the rumours, so just wondering.

I''ll admit to not being as familiar with Gorkss as I''d like ot be, only being able to watch a handful of Championship games from here in the states.  It''s looking less and less likely that Tiny will be available this summer.  Should we land Gorkss, is that a decent substitute for Taylor?  Will Gorkss and Shacks do the job at center back?  As he has a release clause (does he?), if we get him on the cheap, is he worth 15k a week?  I know more about Bell and Hoolihan, but Gorkss is a bit of a mystery to me.  Who in NCFC recent past could he be compared with as far as talent/effectivness in his position?

Im suprised that nobody has picked up on the fact that Gorkks has a 250k release clause...... therefore 600k would be a little silly!

Since when have we really cared about the players name? I can''t recall anybody calling out Drury''s name or Shackell''s so i really don''t understand your point!

I''ve heard he is very good, scores a few too and would be worth about 1.5 million if it wasn''t for his release clause. I am still expecting him to end up at QPR though.

I think he''s getting confused with Thomas Gaardsoe, who WBA signed in 03 from ITFC, but has now retired due to injury I think.
