Baldyboy 0 Posted June 13, 2008 could have been better, playing a newly promoted side in the 2nd game of season could be tough.

Freeza 0 Posted June 13, 2008
could have been better, playing a newly promoted side in the 2nd game of season could be tough.
They were my first thoughts Baldyboy. Didn''t we squeeze past them in the first round a couple of seasons ago thanks to an extra-time goal from Leon McKenzie? As I remember it was an awful game. 0ridgemanddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue 0 Posted June 13, 2008 Not an easy game. Newly promoted side with confidence, astute manager (if he is still there) against a side that has still to be assembled and lets not forget if we do rely on loan players they are not always allowed to play in cup games. Son Ova Gunn 165 Posted June 13, 2008 really hope ince moves to a bigger club now or i not going to be overly confident about this one. newly promoted side in any division always start the season strongly, except maybe Derby.

Crafty Canary 495 Posted June 13, 2008 With our current squad we''ll probably get dumped out. With the promised new signings, well maybe we''ll take them to a replay before going through.Perhaps we should consider boycotting all cup games IF the board have not backed GR with the investment necessary to build up the squad. This would send a powerful message to the board without asking the 20,000 ST holders to not use their expensive tickets.

On that subject, I could not careless, they had to move and their chairman done it, I say well done and good luck to them, well except in the Carling cup.
