No pleasing some people, Forest wanted to keep him, QPR and The Scum wanted to sign him, any player can end up as a freebie if they refuse to sign a new contract even Ronaldo in a couple of years time, doesn''t make them poor players does it?

There is no such thing as a  FREE  each so called free agent will be able to ask for a signing on fee  and that can be almost as much as a transfer fee to a club depending on that players ability and how many prospective buyers are out there .

yes true hockey my hero but if the ask for say 50,000 signing on fee, you may well have to pay them that but atleast you havent got to pay say 500,000 for the player in the 1st place!!!!!!!!!!!
