ZLF 334 Posted May 13, 2004 Please tell me I was having a nightmare this morning with the rumours that City are looking to talk to him? The bloke is too old - Pompey fans confirm he does not have the legs to last a game and his wage demands remain high. I am not sure he would want to play a bit part and he hardly fits th club ideal as a family man does he?Teddy - go to Qatar - please! KIO
Karl Pilkington 0 Posted May 13, 2004 I wouldnt pay too much attention. We will get linked with every ageing footballer around. I''m surprised we have not been linked with any of the released spurs clowns.
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted May 13, 2004 I saw us being linked with Teddy even before we got promoted! I thoroughly hope it''s not true because he''s far too old, but you do have to wonder if there is any substance in the rumours.
susie b 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Sheringham will always have a place here in Norfolk as far as I''m concerned. On the north Norfolk coast, and what a lovely place it is too! Nuff said!
Dirty Lyle 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Terrible idea as a footballerGreat idea for a day out by the sea
If I had the wings of a sparrow 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Its nonsense, Worthy would have kept Iwan ahead of Sheringham.
NMTD 0 Posted May 13, 2004 Susie - nice concept!Maybe we are going to go for team whose players names are the same as place names in Norfolk. We already have Holt, Green (Stalham).... Sheringham would fit in nicely. Are there any other candidates anyone can think of along these lines - this approach would only be as daft as some of the other suggestions we''ve heard/seen.
